A Catawba, North Carolina stoneware face jug by Richard Kale featuring a dark green alkaline glaze, hand-molded facial features with a stylized nose and large ears, and an incised wave design on the shoulder with two applied strap handles. Signed "Richard Kale Jan 5th 1991 Catawba NC" on the bottom. It measures approximately 13 1/2 in. H x 11 in. W x 9 in. D, In good condition.
