Description
This exceptional Lalique art glass rooster, originally titled Coq Nain (translating from French as the "dwarf rooster"), was designed in 1928 by René Lalique. Conceived during the Art Deco era as a luxury automobile radiator mascot, the piece showcases a proud, active pose beautifully rendered with finely detailed, frosted feathery plumage. Measuring approximately 8 1/4 in. H x 5 1/8 in. W x 2 3/8 in. D, the figurine exhibits some surface abrasions and a distinct chip to the beak
