The crock is subtly decorated with two incised rings encircling its shoulder, an elegant yet minimalist detail that beautifully highlights its hand-thrown craftsmanship. Measuring approximately 9 1/2 in. H x 8 3/4 in. in diameter, the crock exhibits some chips and surface abrasions along with remnants of historic blue paint residue from its long domestic life, as well as older repairs to cracks on the lug handle.
