Description
A pocket-sized field manual dated 1940 written in Maori, the native language of New Zealand. From the pictures, it appears the manual describes how to use machine guns of the time period. New Zealand played a massive role in WWII, contributing significantly more personnel and resources per capita than most Allied nations. Declaring war on Germany in 1939, over 140,000 Kiwis served overseas, fighting in major campaigns in Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific alongside Allied forces.
