Description
A 1976 dated Department of the Army issued technical manual titled TM 9-1290-357-10 "Aiming Circle M1 W/E" in good condition overall. The Aiming Circle M1 is a precision optical instrument primarily used by Field Artillery units. It is essentially a surveyor's transit and compass combination used to precisely measure horizontal (azimuth) and vertical (elevation) angles.
