About the artist: Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. People's Artist of Ukraine.
Vyacheslav Afanasevich Prikhodko was born on January 13, 1940 in the city of Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region.
From 1955 to 1959 he studied at the Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts with V. Berets, I. Garapko, F. Manaila, S. Petka, V. Svida.
In 1965 he graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Teachers - I. Severa, V. Manastyrsky, I. Skobalo.
Since 1965, Prikhodko V.A. - A participant in city, republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions.
Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR since 1973.
He worked in the field of easel painting and graphics. Landscape painter, author of genre paintings and still lifes.
In 1990, V.A. Prikhodko was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
People's Artist of Ukraine since 2004.
In recent years, he taught painting at the Transcarpathian Art Institute.
The artist's works are presented in the Transcarpathian Art Museum. I. Bokshaya, in other museum and private collections in Ukraine and beyond.
