Vintage Sterling Rope Chain with Zodiac/Axtec Sun Pendant, 20", 1980's-1990's. The chain is signed IBB and Italy and sterling and tests as sterling with an appx. weight of 12.70 grams. This is the weight of the chain only. Lobster clasp. 2.5mm wide. The pendant has recessed black enameling around the outer edge with turquoise glass inlaid chips. The center has the Mexican sundial look with the zodiac symbols and the Aztec sun in the middle, slightly recessed. The pendant is marked Mexico and Taxco. This looks like a mark that is not authentic. The pendant does not test as sterling but it is a nice quality silver tone metal. The pendant is 2.5" tall with the wide swing bail and 2" wide.
