Vintage Sterling Southwestern Chrysocolla Earrings, Pierced, Drop, 1970's-1980's Signed TG. TG is Teddy Goodluck The stones are believed to be chrysocollar and are bezel-set oval cabochons that are appx. 14mm by 10mm in a shadowbox design with tapered outer notched frame. The hook posts are sterling as are the drops. Appx. Length fromt he curve in the post are appx. 1.25" long and slightly over 1/2" wide. The weight is appx. 8.31 grams. The artist "TG" on southwestern jewelry, particularly Native American jewelry, typically refers to Teddy Goodluck, according to a post on the Turquoise People forum. He is known for his turquoise jewelry, and in the early 1970s, before he added a four-leaf clover to his signature, he used his initials "TG". Some vintage rings and other pieces have been found with this signature. These have typical vintage oxidation that can be plished away but are great in their vintage state.
