Vintage Natural Wood Carved Snake Beaded Necklace, 22", 1970's. The pendant is a flat kite shaped pendant is is base painted in black with the top having a snake skin painted on it in green and yellow with a carved raised snake with yellow eye (the eye has a chip that can e covered with even nail polish - the throat is white with black accents. The pendant is appx. 2-7/8" top point to bottom piont and almost 2.5" side point to side piont. There are natural wood tone beads at the back that are thick and appx. 10mm wide with natural wood toned beads that are flying saucer shaped and appx. 18mm which is slightly wider than the green tinted disc beads that are appx. 15.5mm. Toward the front are two egg-shaped beads that are painted in the same snakeskin tnes as the pendant. Those beads are appx. 30mm by 22mm with a gold tone bead on each side. Brassy barrel clasp. This is not signed or marked. Very good condition other than the eye, as mentioned. (NY2.10 SS15979 J LD 6/3/25).
