Vintage Sterling Onyx Marcasite Oval Brooch, 3" by 1-1.8". Locking clasp. 1980's. It is marked .925 and tests as sterling with a weight of appx. 28.91 grams. This is a long brooch with a raised bezel-set onyx that is appx. 3" by .75" wide and rounded at the ends. It has a tapered frame with a double row of marcasites down each of the long sides. This is in very good condition. Typical oxidation that works with this pin. It is not signed by the maker. (W5226.2X2 SS17717 J LD 5/17/26).
