Description
It wasn't until after World War 2 that the use of sterling silverware declined, mainly because so many Europeans lost their wealth and sterling silverware was primarily used by the nobility.
From that point onward, many American manufacturers began to produce steel silverware, which was more affordable.
With this over production of silver plated and steel/nickel silverware many artists of the 1960's up to today have used these utensils as the basis for their work.
From this primordial state, I've incorporated our Bedouin nature with our mid-20th century production of silverware to bring you my 10th collection of silverware inspired jewelry.
This is the fourth piece of my 9th collection of silverware inspired jewelry.
Two sterling silver silverware handles are joined by a plaque of silver in the middle to make a cuff bracelet.
Measures 2 1/2" in diameter, goes from 1/2" wide and tapers down to 1/4" and is completely adjustable.
Marked 925(for sterling) and comes with stamp which reads: "Alberto Juan".
Available polished, satin, or with an antique finish, please let me know upon ordering.
As with all Alberto Juan jewelry comes in a protective Velvet black bag, shown in some listings.
