ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kryzhanivska Margarita Mykolaivna - was born on the 1st of July, 1921, in Nikolaevka village, Donetsk region. She studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute. Mentors: Shavykin D., Besedin S., Kokel O., Prokhorov S., Mironenko V. Painter. She worked in the easel painting industry. Since 1949 she participated in republican exhibitions. Since 1950 - a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The main works: "Memoirs" (1949); "Holiday on Our Street" (1949); "The First of September" (1949); "Snowdrops" (1949); "Tenth-graders" (1958); and others. Margarita Mykolaivna died in 2011.
