Description:This Roman Imperial Gallic Centurion helmet is a full-size, wearable historical reproduction inspired by helmets used from 100 B.C. to 300 A.D. Centurions, the officers in charge of 100 men in the Roman Imperial guard, wore these adorned, plumed helmets to increase visibility in battle and project a more commanding presence. This handcrafted piece features 18-gauge carbon steel construction, a red horse hair plume, brass accents, a moveable steel visor, and hinged side face protection. As these items are handmade, please note that size, shape, color, and finish may vary.
