The casting is deep with good facial features, horns, and fur showing. The metal has a good weight. It is probably cast from lead.
There is a black stamped mark on the stag’s belly that I can’t make out.

CONDITION
There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs and the figure stands upright. There is some paint missing on the horns and legs. The rest of the deer has fewer paint losses.
A fun, antique, hand painted bronze stag deer to add to a collection and display. Similar figures are often used in vintage "Putz" Christmas village displays.
