This set is in a pattern titled “No. 10” and was patented in 1896. The pattern displays fancy flowers in high relief along both sides of the handle. Each handle is monogrammed on the front cartouche, “MS”, in a flowing script. The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Dominick & Haff and the patent date of 1896. This set is in great overall condition. Each fork has minor knife marks across the back of the tines from regular use. The pattern details are well-defined. There are no breaks and no repairs.
