Note the photo of a chair bottom. Here you can see the stamp that was used by the manufacturer to identify the Calcutta line. The design features a distinctive faux bamboo motif in the frames and an openwork, crisscross pattern on the chair backs and table base, finished in a light, possibly original, painted surface.
