The glide could be replaced but it is recommended that for long term use it should be professionally repaired. The chairs are supported by a "Dowelled Base" or "Eiffel Tower" style base, constructed from light wood dowels and black metal cross supports. These chairs are a testament to mid-century modern design, combining innovative materials with functional artistry.
