This set dates to around the 1950s-1970s, but the look is quite stylish and timeless. The set consists of two straight sided tumblers or “rocks” type glasses, appropriate for a mixed drink like an Old Fashioned or the like, and a jigger or shot glass. The tumblers have a capacity of about 4 ounces or about 118 milliliters, filled to a reasonable amount rather than the very top. The shot glass has a capacity of about 1.5 ounces or 44 milliliters, filled pretty much to the top. The pieces are sterling silver with glass interiors, with a handsome gold gilt finish beneath the glass. The stand is rich medium brown wood with a black lacquered wood top, with a very classy and handsome look. Really a great addition to any bar setup, just imagine it flanked with fine crystal decanters or the high end liquor of your choice. Each of the silver pieces is stamped on the underside with the Reed & Barton maker's mark as well as sterling and the number X577 This set is in great overall condition. The glass lining the cups has no chips, no cracks, no damages whatsoever, but one of the tumblers has a little bit of discoloration visible beneath the glass around the rim, sort of like you see on an old mirror. The silver has no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Minor abrasions to the finish of the brown wood of the stand, mostly along one long edge, which could easily be the 'back' of the stand if it were against a shelf back or wall, etc. The two larger tumblers measure about 3 1/4 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter at the mouth. The shot glass measures about 2 1/4 inches tall and about 2 inches in diameter at the mouth. The stand measures about 9 x 4 1/8 inches, LxW.
