Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1947). Studied with O. Shovkunenko. Member of World War II. He worked in the field of easel painting. Major works: "Song of Batkivshchyna" (1949); Favorite Lesson (1957); TG Shevchenko's Native Places (1961); "Morning at the boarding school" (1965) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1949. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. Died in 2011
