Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a gorgeous piece from Keil's "Junge Wilde" collection. It is signed "P. Keil" in the lower left corner and executed on a canvas like cloth. Oftentimes, Keil painted on cloth he had before being able to afford canvas. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. The wood has minor warping (see last photo) but I do believe it would be completely fine to hang once framed.
