This is one of 10 artist's proofs on handmade BFK Rives wove paper, from a total edition of 145. Plate size: 8 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches (223 x 293 mm). Sheet size: 13 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches (353 x 450 mm). Jack Levine was inspired by the Berthold Brecht and G. W. Pabst "Dreigroschen Film" of 1930. Condition: the paper is punctured and torn in the margin to the left of the platemark.
