NORTHEASTERN DECORATED EARTHENWARE / REDWARE JAR, lead-glazed with manganese splashes, approximately one-gallon capacity, ovoid form with a medium collar, having three bands of incised rings, a beaded neck, and eight incised wavy lines to shoulder, glaze stopping above foot. Probably Long Island, NY or Norwalk, CT. Mid 19th century. 9 1/2" H, 6 5/8" D rim.
