NEW ENGLAND PAINTED PINE SETTLE BENCH, the rectangular back over a chest-form base with a hinged lid/seat, the whole flanked by shaped solid ends and raised on short cut-out feet. Retains an early red-painted surface. Mid 19th century. 51 1/2" HOA, 62 1/2" WOA, 18" DOA.
