PAINTED SHEET-IRON TRIANGULAR STATION KEROSENE LANTERN, retains original green-painted surface, triangular form, top with a beaded and curved cap, having a wire-loop handle with wooden grip, shield under the cap with a penciled signature of "M F Knowmor", two sides fitted with a large rectangular colorless glass pane, one pane serving as the hinged door, interior of backing fitted with a contoured mirror reflector with multi-panel construction and top fitted with an opening for chimney, reverse of back fitted with two hanging rings, base fitted with a circular-form font holder, raised on three short legs. 19th century. 20" H, 11 1/2" WOA.

Very good condition, expected wear and paint losses, mirror panels intact and having deterioration to the silvering, having some scattered rust, door with detached securing/sliding closure pin. Lacking the font.
