About the artist: Born on May 18, 1925 in the city of Chimkent, now Kazakhstan. Studied at the Riga Academy of Arts (1950-1956). Teachers by profession - J. Tilberg, E Skulme. Painter and director. He worked in the field of easel painting. The main genres are portraits and thematic paintings. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1960). Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with medals. Chief Designer of the Zaporizhzhya Music and Drama Theater named after N. Shchors (now named after V. Magar) since 1970. Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, all-Union (1956). Designed the performances: "The Brazilian Treasure" M. Mashado (1971), "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" by B. Vasiliev (1972), "The Third Pathetic" by N. Pogodin (1972), "Hurricane" by A. Sofronov (1973), "Call and come A. Aleksin (1973), The Sorcerer's Apprentice V. Zhulkivskoy and S. Bugaysky (1973), Forget Herostratus by G. Gorin (1974), Her Birth by A. Putintsev (1974), Without Guilt guilty "A. Ostrovsky (1974)," What do you live for? " I. Kasumov and G.
