Description: Vintage .950 Silver Carved Mother-of-Pearl Star Brooch/Pendant, 1940's-1950's. Slightly under 1.5" across. This has both a pinback and a bail to wear as a brooch or a pendant. II has an early 1" carved star in mother-of-pearl with cutout design in the background. The frame is scalloped on the edge with a zigzag design that tapers up toward the mother-of-pearl It is marked Sivler .950 and tested. Weight is appx. 6.41 grams. Age is appx. 1940's-1950's. Very good condition other than oxidation on the silver that will polish away if you do not want the vintage look. .950 silver has more silver content than sterling which is .925. Not signed by the maker. (W52122.1X1 SS J LD 6/12/22).
