  • Description: Vintage Sterling Red/Pink Marcasite Ring, Sz. 5.5, 1920's-1930's. This is signed sterling and tests as sterling with a weight of appx. 4.03 gr. It has a double row of marcasites - some were missing and they have been replaced. The ring has a center oval dark pink to red glsas stone that does have some typical wear for a 90-100 year old-ring. The ring is appx. 7/8" down the finger and 3/4" across the finger with decorative accents on the upper band where it is appx. 2.1mm wide and it tapers to appx. 1.8mm at the back of the finger. It is not signed by the maker. It does have a few marcasite with some damage but that is visible by magnification and not by the naked eye. I woudl still call it good to almost very good condition given the age. (W10723.1X8 SS12170 J LD 10/12/23)
