These were allegedly a thing that started in Britain and made in Britain in appx. 1924's. This is a single cufflink - with blue enameled frame and lettering. This is an organization that started to raise money for a surgeon to so he could help the surgeon give to the charities of his choid and the children he helped. This was in appx. 1924 and continued into the 1930's. This has an appx. weight of 4.44 grams. The froth blowers were the beer drinkers that would blow the foamy head off the beer. It was started to to thank for life saving stomach surgery by Sir Alfred Fripp. Membership of the spoof cost 5 shillings which is equal to 18 pounds today and in return each member received the silver enameled cufflinks and a membership booklet and card that entitled them to blow froth off any members' beer - their motto was "lubrication in moderation." Very good condition. A complete set is being offered for upwards of $100 to $120 and someone sold a pair for $400 in other venues. (W91325.1X SS17039 J 11/18/25).
