NewAdditional Information: Lady Rose is an original painting by Lawal Ibrahim. Ibrahim created Lady Rose with a Colored pen, watercolor, and fabrics on 24W by 36H inches of paper. "Lady Rose" is a captivating artwork that depicts a woman with a head made of roses sitting on a wooden stool against a white background. The painting, which was created by Lawal Ibrahim, is a true masterpiece that blends a unique mix of beauty, mystery, and symbolism. The artwork features a stunning lady with a rose for a head, which is a powerful symbol of love and beauty. Her face is adorned with delicate petals and soft hues of pink, creating a striking contrast against the white background. Her serene expression evokes a sense of peace and tranquility, while her posture suggests a poised and confident demeanor. The use of a wooden stool as the only prop in the painting is a subtle but significant element that adds depth and context to the artwork. The stool symbolizes stability, grounding, and simplicity, which could be interpreted as a contrast to the ethereal beauty of the rose-headed lady. It also invites the viewer to imagine the setting where the lady is sitting and adds a touch of realism to an otherwise surrealistic scene. The white background, although seemingly simple, plays a crucial role in the artwork's overall impact. The absence of any distractions, patterns, or textures directs the viewer's attention solely to the lady and her rose head, creating a sense of intimacy and focus. It also allows the artwork to convey a sense of timelessness and universality, as the absence of a specific environment or context makes it relatable to anyone, anywhere, and anytime. Overall, "Lady Rose" is a stunning artwork that captures the essence of beauty, mystery, and symbolism in a single frame. Its subtle use of color, contrast, and context creates a powerful and thought-provoking image that invites the viewer to interpret and appreciate its meaning in a unique way. It is a true testament to the power of art to evoke emotions, convey messages, and transcend language, culture, and time. I proceeded to my postgraduate studies at the Open University, Abuja where I got a Master?s Degree in Administration and Planning in 2020. My works are centered around the consciousness of humans and their relationship with our surroundings, using mediums ranging from pens to watercolors, fabric, and newspapers. I delved into a new style of art called Aprosopi. This style of art combines hyper-realism from traditional art and digital art. With less emphasis on the face, it is a way of asking questions, about is human facial features importance exaggerated and their implications on our societal relationships. All my life I have always wanted to express myself through my art and get them to be an extension of my innate thoughts I participated in a group exhibition held in Abuja at the Ivory Place; the Flow Session (2021) I currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria, where I work as a full-time artist
