Victorian Walnut Rococo Revival Oval Parlor Table

Description

31 x 22.5 x 30. This late 19th-century Victorian parlor table is constructed of walnut. The table features an oval top formed from two joined solid wood boards. The apron is deep and shaped, featuring a central raised oval medallion with carved accents and turned drop finials at the junction of each leg. The table is supported by four heavily contoured S-curved legs. These legs are joined by a shaped X-stretcher which supports a central turned wood bowl-shaped finial. The feet terminate in small metal casters. No manufacturer marks, labels, or stamps are visible.
