This is a Vintage Folk Art Wood House Recipe Storage Box- the roof comes off for storage. Roof has a place to place your recipe on so it can be easily read. Most likely this box was used to store recipes All paint is in very good condition- inside of box is clean. It was designed for a 3" x 5" card with space for easy access. Card will fit easily on the roof. Artist name and date on back of box-1991. Measures 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 5 1/2".
