These two Harper's New Monthly Magazine January 1900 & November 1886 magazines are an opportunity to look back in history and see what life was like at the turn of the century. Great ads and stories. They are not in the best of condition but all are readable and many have full page ads that are unique. One of the unique things is that most pictures are hand drawn not photographs. Advertising is unique and some products you have never heard of. Truly fascinating books. The January issue has a couple of pages that have pictures cut out of.
