This BEAUTIFUL cotton 1930's Irish chain / "jewel box" quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with thousands of postage stamp pieces measuring just over 1" per side, and five borders. It measures 78" X 98" and is in very good condition, with the occasional small spot and light surface dirt in places. There are close grid and straight line designs quilted throughout at an even 8-10 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid black, and the batting is thin.
