Original abstract ink-on-paper composition signed “Coleman ’67” at the lower margin, featuring bold gestural black brushwork, scattered ink forms, linear scribbles, and geometric elements characteristic of mid-century abstract expressionist and calligraphic abstraction. The work is presented under glass in a later metallic frame with wide matting that complements the minimalist composition. The artwork exhibits age toning to the paper, light waviness, and minor handling wear consistent with age, while the frame shows scattered surface scratches and wear. The signature and date appear original to the work. Without additional provenance, the artist attribution remains as signed only; however, comparable signed abstract ink drawings by listed artist Bill Coleman have appeared at auction and in the secondary market.
