Description:Hand painted set of four spoons that are so delicate and intricate.

The set of porcelain spoons are decorated in a design of cranes with fish roe borders using a cobalt under glaze. Each spoon has about 7 to 9 spur marks on the underside. They are very thin and translucent under a light.

There is a four character mark on the backside of each spoon. I can't quite figure out the two name characters.

MEASUREMENTS

5 1/4 in (13.3 cm) long x 1 7/8 in (4.8 cm) wide x 2 1/8 in (5.4 cm) tall. Weighs 3.7 oz (100 g)

CONDITION

There are no chips, breaks, or cracks. They are in very good shape. They have some cobalt smudges from manufacture.

A nice set to be used and admired.
