Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a gorgeous piece executed with acrylic on board painted in Berlin in 1974. It is titled "Marilyn Monroe" and is signed and dated "Peter Keil "˜74" in the lower right corner. A Certificate of Authenticity from the artist is adhered to the verso. The art is in excellent condition with exception to a minor flaw in the lower right as pictured. The frame is in excellent condition with no flaws.
