Leather binding with 8 corner fittings, remains of a metal clasp and floral brass center fitting at the front cover.

The person celebrating the anniversary was the son of the company founder of the same name (1803-1884) and his wife Christine Schlatter.
Among those offering their congratulations were the textile entrepreneur Robert Otto from Unterboihingen, the button manufacturer Gustav Bringmann from Ludenscheid and the silk ribbon manufacturer Ewald Lowen from Elberfeld.
