Exceptional 17th or 18th century work After Giorgione Renaissance style drawing depicting a woman at a fountain. The composition is noted as an old copy after the figure of a nymph in the foreground of The Pastoral Concert, attributed either to Giorgione or Titian, formerly from the collection of Louis XIV and now at the Louvre Museum. Executed in sanguine, black chalk, feather, brown ink, and brown wash. Watermark with coat of arms of the lily. Old annotation or signature on reverse in ink.
