Circa 1970's.
Gorgeous sponge red coral beads (4 mm's), turquoise nuggets (8 mm's), and gold filled beads (4 mm's and 5 mm's).
There are 10 strands of sponge red coral.
Necklace measures 18" to 20 1/2" as it's graduated.
Center is brass with a 14 gold vermeil and measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/2" and features two natural turquoise nugget cabochons.
Seems to me that the center of this necklace used to be a belt buckle as the back looks like it was buffed down.
Clasp is a brass oval the measures 1 1/4" by 3/4" and features a blue colorless turquoise cabochon.
Definitely a one of a kind and highly conceptual piece from start to finish.
