  • Description:Vintage Sterling Modernist/Brutalist Pendant Necklace, 20" Signed, 9/95. Signed W. Rothstein who,, if information is correct, makes jewelry with his wife, Gale Rothstein. This is hand-engraved signed W. Rothstein and 9/95. It has a unique pendant that is appx. 2.5" by 1.5", mostly sterling with a brass leaf accent. There is a raised bezel-set nautilus type accent raised on top with a black onyx bead at the coil. There is a green and tan jasper or agate at the bottom that is appx. 7/8" inside the frame. This is strung on a 2mm round serpentine chain that is appx. 20" long with a hand designed toggle clasp. Everything tests as sterling (except the brass on the leaf - with a total weight of appx 30.00 grams. It has very light oxidation on the chain - more on the pendant but great with the patina. Very good condition. (WPSSS71725.1X1 SS17331 J LD 2/4/26).
