This desirable early Grateful Dead original first printing poster is one of the most sought-after images of the Bill Graham collection. It features art by the late great Wes Wilson and an image that is associated with one of the most iconic bands of the period, with support from the Chicago Bluesman, the late great Otis Rush. All OP-1 posters of this issue are extremely light-sensitive. The blue color tends to fade to gray very quickly, as has happened with this example. However, collectors in the know are aware that the BG-51 OP-1 very seldom surfaces at auction. It is often hunted down by the community, and we get numerous requests for it on a regular basis!
