The Rose Palace in Pasadena had originally been built for the construction of floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade, which is held every New Year's Day in the city. During the late sixties and through the seventies, it was also used as a concert venue. Original advertisements from the Rose Palace of any band are difficult to find because so few were made. This handbill announced Blues Image and South Wind appearing at the venue in June 1969.
