This poster was produced to commemorate the first Sky River Rock Festival, held from August 31st to September 3rd, 1968, on Betty Nelson's Farm near the Skykomish River outside Sultan, Washington. The lineup featured Santana, Country Joe, Big Mama Thornton, James Cotton, and many more. On the final day of the festival, members of the Grateful Dead jammed with James Cotton, Big Mama Thornton, and Billy Roberts!

This poster was produced a year after the festival occurred, using a photo of people in attendance at the festival site in mud.
