Here we have a large 1988 Second Printing uncut artist's proof of one of the most beautiful and sought-after rock posters ever! Jimi Hendrix performed at Bill Graham's Fillmore East on May 10, 1968. The famed venue was located in the lower East side of Manhattan and was host to all of the major acts of the day. There are relatively few posters for the Fillmore East. Instead, Graham used his print budget to create playbill-type programs for the theatre-style venue. 20 years later, 2nd printings were produced, which is what this example is from.
