Vintage two tone diamond dome cocktail ring, circa 1970s, crafted in 18k yellow gold with 14k white gold diamond set accents. The ring features a bold domed bombe form with a dimensional cluster top measuring almost 1 inch wide and rising 1/2 inch from the finger. The design is composed of alternating white gold diamond set panels and textured yellow gold rope borders, creating a raised architectural pattern with strong mid century presence. Round brilliant cut diamonds are set throughout the white gold sections, with a larger central diamond framed by smaller diamond accents. The yellow gold body is stamped 18K, and the white gold diamond panels test as 14k gold. The ring is a size 5 and weighs 18.2 grams. There is evidence of possible previous resizing visible to the shank upon close inspection, along with light surface wear consistent with age. This circa 1970s diamond dome ring reflects the substantial scale, mixed metal construction, and textured gold work often seen in vintage cocktail jewelry from this period.
