ABOUT THE ARTIST: Zhurbiy Oleksandr Petrovich - was born on the 26th of May, 1926 in Velika Bagachka village, Poltava region. He studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute. Mentors: Besedin S., Lyubimsky O., Karas J. Worked in the easel painting industry. The main works: "Evening on Vorskla" (1957); "At Noon" (1960); "Evening Silence" (1961); "In a New Apartment" (1963) and others. Since 1957 participated in republican exhibitions. The artist died in 2005.
