ABOUT THE ARTIST: Potapenko Andriy Ilyich - was born on 5th of January, 1925 in Dniprovo-Kamyanka village, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at Dnipropetrovsk Art College. Mentors: Panin M. and Pogrebnyak N. Since 1951 started to participate in all-Union and republican exhibitions. He held many personal exhibitions in Dnipropetrovsk, Verkhnyodniprovsk, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia. Since 1964 - a member of the Union of Artists of USSR. Since 1984 - Honored Artist of Ukraine. Works are presented in private collections in Ukraine, France, Germany, the USA, Austria, Japan, and Russia. The Artist died in 2011.
