A 1928 map of Enid Gordon-Gallien's expedition to the Kalambo Falls, Tanganyika Territory (now Tanzania). Mrs Gordon-Gallien was a British adventurer and pilot who was awarded the RGS's prestigious Back Award in 1930 for this expedition. She was killed in the crash in 1931 of a plane piloted by her friend the pioneering racing pilot Sicele O'Brien. . Royal Geographical Society / Mrs. Enid Gordon-Gallien. Published July 1929.
