Description:A mirror pair of hand-carved wood carvings of water buffalo with herd boys on their backs with custom wood stands.

The light weight wood has been deeply carved and stained a reddish color. The bases of the buffalo even have some carving. Glass eyes have been inserted into buffalo and boy. They are a mirror pair and face each other. Lightweight wood stands have been made to fit the carvings. These stands have been stained a black brown color.

There is a red and white paper label on base of one of the buffalos that reads MADE IN HONGKONG No. 485 .

CONDITION

One of the boys has a crack across his body. The other boy has a crack that travels along the buffalo’s back. Both boys are missing one eye each.
