The blade is hand-forged from 1095 to 15N20 high-carbon Japanese steel, consisting of 200 layers with a heat treatment of 52-56 RC.
The full-tang handle is constructed from olive wood and is secured with two brass pins and an embedded mosaic pin.
Due to the handmade nature of this item, variations in wood color and Damascus patterns are to be expected.
